The terms below govern your use of our website and the services Gold Coast Technologies provides. Please read them carefully.

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website operated by Gold Coast Technologies LLC ("Gold Coast Technologies", "we", "us" or "our") and the products and services we provide. By using our website or engaging us for any service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Who we are

Gold Coast Technologies LLC is a Florida limited liability company headquartered in Broward County, Florida. We provide office technology solutions to businesses and individuals across South Florida, including copiers and printers, managed print services, IT network solutions, AI solutions, phone systems, production printing and related document solutions. 2. Eligibility and authority

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Site or engage our Services. If you accept these Terms on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

3. The Services

Gold Coast Technologies provides, among other things:

  • Sale, lease and service of copiers, printers and multifunction devices (including Konica Minolta, Epson, HP and Kyocera).
  • Managed Print Services (MPS), supplies fulfillment and on-site maintenance.
  • IT network solutions, including 24/7 remote monitoring, cybersecurity, backup and disaster recovery, desktop and server management, and remote and onsite support.
  • AI solutions, phone systems (VoIP), production printing and document workflow solutions.

The specific scope of any engagement is defined at the time of purchase or in a separate quote, statement of work or service agreement.

4. Service plans, one-time services, and quotes

We offer recurring subscription plans, leases and per-incident or per-project services. Estimates and quotes are valid only for the period stated and do not guarantee final costs if scope changes materially. We will provide notice before proceeding with substantially expanded work.

5. Remote access and onsite service consent

When you request services, you authorize Gold Coast Technologies technicians to access, install, configure, modify and remove software and to access the relevant devices, networks and accounts. You confirm that you own or are authorized to grant access to the devices and accounts involved. Plans that include unlimited remote support may require installation of a remote support agent, which only connects with your explicit permission.

6. Your responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Back up your data before any service is performed.
  • Provide accurate information, valid credentials and authorized scope of work.
  • Maintain valid software licenses and keep your accounts and credentials secure.
  • Use our Site and Services only for lawful purposes.

For security, we recommend the use of standard user accounts for day-to-day operation, reserving administrator accounts for administrative tasks.

7. Fees, billing, and taxes

Subscription plans, leases and recurring services are billed in advance and auto-renew until cancelled. Per-incident and per-project services are billed upon completion or per the terms of the applicable quote. You authorize Gold Coast Technologies to charge your payment method on file for amounts owed. Fees are exclusive of taxes, and you are responsible for any applicable sales or other taxes. Prices may change at next renewal after notice.

8. Late payments

Past-due amounts may result in suspension of services and may accrue interest at the lesser of 1.5% per month or the maximum rate permitted by law, plus reasonable collection costs.

9. Cancellation and refunds

Subscriptions may be cancelled at any time, effective at the end of the current billing period. Cancellation stops future renewals but does not refund amounts already paid for the current period, except where required by law. Leases and equipment agreements are governed by their own terms. One-time services are non-refundable once work begins; prepaid unused services may receive credit or refund at our discretion.

10. Third-party products, software, and services

Hardware, software and services provided by third parties (such as Konica Minolta, Epson, HP, Kyocera, Microsoft and other manufacturers) are governed by their respective manufacturer or licensor terms. Gold Coast Technologies is not the manufacturer or licensor of third-party products and provides no warranty for them beyond any warranty the third party passes through. Hardware coverage is limited to the applicable manufacturer warranty.

11. Acceptable use

You may not use the Site or Services to violate any law, infringe any third-party right, transmit malware, gain unauthorized access to any system or request that Gold Coast Technologies do so on your behalf. We may refuse or terminate any service we reasonably believe involves unlawful activity.

12. Intellectual property

The Site and its content, and any tools, scripts, documentation and materials that Gold Coast Technologies develops and provides (other than your data and your pre-existing materials), are owned by Gold Coast Technologies or its licensors. Custom deliverables are licensed or assigned per separate agreements; you retain ownership of your own content and data.

13. Confidentiality

Each party agrees to use confidential information received from the other solely for service delivery and to protect it with reasonable care. This obligation does not apply to information that is publicly available, previously known, independently developed or legally required to be disclosed.

14. Privacy

Our handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

15. Warranties and disclaimers

We will perform services with reasonable skill and care. Except as expressly stated in these Terms or in a separate written agreement, the Site and Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that any specific issue will be resolved, that service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that data will be preserved. You remain responsible for maintaining current backups of your data.

16. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Gold Coast Technologies will not be liable for any indirect, consequential, incidental, special or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, revenue or business. Gold Coast Technologies' total liability for all claims relating to the Services will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid Gold Coast Technologies for the specific Service giving rise to the claim in the three months before the event, or one hundred U.S. dollars (US$100).

17. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Gold Coast Technologies and its personnel from and against any claims, damages and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your misuse of the Site or Services, your violation of these Terms, your unlawful conduct or your infringement of any third-party right.

18. Service availability and changes to these Terms

We may modify, suspend or discontinue any part of the Site or Services at any time. We may update these Terms from time to time; updates take effect when posted, and your continued use of the Site or Services indicates acceptance.

19. Termination

You may stop using the Services according to the cancellation terms above. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms, non-payment or compliance with law. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including fees owed, intellectual property, confidentiality, disclaimers and limitations of liability — will survive.

20. Governing law and venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. You agree that the exclusive venue for any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms, the Site or the Services will be the state or federal courts located in Broward County, Florida.

21. General

These Terms, together with any documents referenced herein and any separate written agreement between the parties, constitute the entire agreement between you and Gold Coast Technologies and supersede all prior understandings. If any provision is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. You may not assign these Terms without our written consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.
